VisionStar Seeks Goal Setting Advice from College Students
(PRWEB) November 14, 2006 -- Mel Richardson, founder of VisionStar Enterprises, has launched a new website seeking goal setting advice from college students to help high school students achieve success in college. The tips will be compiled in a book titled, “After High School, College Success.” Contributors to the website will also have the opportunity to audition for a play promoting sound financial principles titled, “Too Much Month at the End of the Money.” The book will feature a combination of resources varying from help with college admission to study habit advice, as well as inspiring and motivating stories about overcoming adversity.
Richardson, a speaker, coach, author and visionary, says this is an opportunity for college students to give and receive. By sharing their motivating stories and goal setting tips for success, college students can contribute to the future success of high school students as well as receive techniques and principles to make their own career and life more successful.
Advice offered can include overcoming obstacles to college admission, choosing the right college or university, study habits to increase success, and overcoming adversity. These tips, Richardson says, can all contribute to a successful campus life for incoming freshmen.
“We want to motivate, inspire and encourage high school and college students with success principles, techniques, and practices that will enable them to reach the epitome of success and contribute to society in a meaningful way,” says Richardson. “We want to get as many of our young adults as possible to look at the opportunity for a higher education. We believe everyone should have a vision for their life and your vision should be somewhere amongst the stars.”
By contributing their motivational stories, Richardson says students will receive techniques and principals to make their own career and life more successful after graduation.
“We have spoken to presidents and CEO’s, vice-presidents and executives of major organizations, human resource executives and individuals from search firms,” says Richardson. “Based on their input we were able to capture some powerful techniques designed to skyrocket your level of success within your own careers.”
Some of the information available to contributing college students includes interview strategies, wealth building information, information from Internet marketers, goal setting techniques, debt elimination procedures, how to manage a career, how to manage a credit file, professional resume preparation, dress for success tips, career building tips, and networking principles.
Included will be amazing tips from the experts in the fields of self development and human potential, from men and women who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of success and excellence. Also included is a free 30 minute coaching consultation for college seniors regarding the corporate world and goal setting.
An upcoming informational seminar is set for January 9, 2007, entitled, “The Power of a Written Goal”. This seminar is open to everyone. Log on to www.powerofawrittengoal.com for more information. The event is aimed at anyone who did not get the results in 2006 they expected, or anyone who is looking to make 2007 their best year ever.
