Are there any Ohio anime or manga jobs / inernships for college students?

I am a 20-year-old college student and will soon be receiving my Associates Degree with my major in Graphic Design. I have 4+ years of experience working on both MAC's and PCs running Photoshop, Illustration, InDesign, and am currently studying FLASH in college. Personally, I am a decent artist and writer with a passion for aime and manga, and have decided to make it my career. The problem is I don't know where to start. I have done some research and found that the closest LARGE distributor of anime/manga is "Right Stuff" in Iowa, but I do not have enough money to move away from eastern Cincinnati. I would love to move someday, but not until I can support myself. Actually, the closer to Cincinnati, OH, the better.

So, does anyone know anywhere in Ohio (or even Northern Kentucky) where they would hire (or give an internship) to a Graphic Designer with an Associates degree?

OR do you know what requirements an entry-level graphic designer for an anime or manga company need to get hired?
